Glee actor Chris Colfer has admitted he is overjoyed after being nominated for a Golden Globe.
It was announced earlier today that the star is in the race for Best Supporting Actor in a television series for his role as gay student Kurt Hummel at the show.
"It is becoming bigger and bigger and I think he has much to do with music - it unites everybody," he told the Hollywood Reporter after receiving the news. "Everybody is on the moon. "
Colfer and nod, Glee has also received four nominations for others, including "Best Comedy Series and Best Actor in a TV series for Matthew Morrison.
The Golden Globes ceremony is scheduled to air January 16, 2011.
