Police say two people are dead and three others are wounded following a shooting in an east Denver neighborhood.

The Denver police communications office says officers found the victims after responding to a call to South Quince Street about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The office tells The Associated Press that one person was dead at the scene and another died after being rushed to a hospital.

The three others were hospitalized but police haven't released details on their conditions.

Investigators were still at the scene and the office says it has no other details, including information on the gender or ages of any of the victims.

Detective John White tells KOA-AM that two to three black males were seen fleeing the area.

But police say they have no suspects, and there was no word of a motive in the shootings.
