Google.com's logo is looking a bit different today.

The multicolored "Google" logo has been spiced up with fireworks and has seen a few of its letters replaced by four Roman numerals, "MMXI", to read "GMMXIE."

Judging from the top terms that have been keyed in to Google trends, Google users seem a bit confused by the numerals, some misreading the number as "GMMXLE," "MMXE," "MMX," "MMXL," "MMXLE," and "GMMXL."

It's the last day of 2010 and today's Google "doodle" is a nod at New Year's Eve and 2011.

"MMXI" are the Roman numerals for 2011. You can see for yourself using this Arabic numeral/Roman numeral conversion chart here.
